Welcome to Going for Gold!

GOING FOR GOLD is a fun, general knowledge quiz transmitted live on Five every weekday at 12.45pm, with a special follow-up programme GOING FOR GOLD EXTRA at 2.45pm.

Each edition of GOING FOR GOLD features four studio contestants who are aiming to be the daily champion and win a cash prize, with the winner appearing on GOING FOR GOLD EXTRA to compete against a viewer at home for an additional cash prize.

Every show gives viewers the chance to win cash prizes by answering questions from the comfort of their own home. All questions and prize amounts will be announced on the show.  If you want to enter any of the competitions, you can call the number given on-screen during the show or you can obtain a free entry by requesting a PIN number from this website, simply click Free Entry and follow the on screen instructions.
